Implementation Lead
Owned end-to-end implementation lifecycle for 10+ large European enterprise clients on Spendscape, a spend analytics platform: pre-sales scoping, data mapping across 30+ ERP source systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision, legacy CSV), configuration, go-live, and post-launch adoption. Recovered a failing 30-ERP account in 3 months. Improved adoption by 60% across accounts.
Spendscape is a spend analytics platform. I owned the full implementation lifecycle for 10+ large European enterprise clients: pre-sales scoping, data mapping, ERP integration, go-live, and post-launch adoption. Each client brought 30+ ERP source systems including SAP, Oracle, Navision, and legacy CSV.
The most complex engagement involved a mid-project merger: two clients decided to merge during implementation, requiring us to consolidate their analytics without touching either source system. I built a view layer pulling data from two separate SQL Server environments and constructed a unified reporting structure on top, preserving each client's data integrity while delivering a single coherent output.
Each client's data landscape was unique. Source systems included SAP (most common), Oracle, Navision, and legacy CSV exports — each requiring custom field mapping to Spendscape's taxonomy. The data mapping phase was where most projects slipped: underestimating source data quality, missing business context for spend categories, and clients providing incomplete ERP access.
Most adoption failures are not user failures. They are product decisions made without understanding what happens after go-live.
